Indianapolis – While most Colts fans were expecting a comfortable win vs the Houston Texans, the organization could look back to only three weeks ago when they beat the AFC South leader Titans 22-13 and know that no win is guaranteed. After a dominant win on Sunday where the Colts only allowed 141 total yards, JMV made sure to put this win in perspective as they head into their bye 7-6.

“Credit where credit is due and that credit comes in the form of doing what you should. This Colts team has normally been really good against bad teams and they were yesterday…going into a bye week it gave everybody a great deal of confidence and enthusiasm. The last thing you want is what happened to the Titans in Nashville three weeks prior. You want to handle your business exactly like the Colts handled their business yesterday.”

The defense put up their most dominant game of the season and shut out a team for the first time in nearly 30 years.

While the Colts are already healthy according to the injury report, the Week 14 bye will give them a chance to recover from the bumps and bruises that accompany playing 13 games in a row. The Colts will take on the Patriots on primetime in a game that will go a long way in determining their playoff future.
