Andrew Luck is returning in 2018, and that gets people excited for a lot of reasons – one of them being T.Y. Hilton’s emergence as number one wide receiver again.
The NFL Network released a top 10 fantasy football draft bargains for this season, and The Ghost found himself on the list.
“T.Y. Hilton, WR, Indianapolis Colts (ADP: 3.02)
If you believe in Andrew Luck’s resurrection (and at this point, who doesn’t?), then by extension, you should believe in T.Y. Hilton’s revival. Last season was the first time since his rookie campaign that he failed to clear 1,000 yards and at least five touchdowns. It was also the first season in his career that he didn’t have Luck feeding him most of his targets. If he can get closer to where he was in 2016 (91/1,448/6) then you’re looking at a top five fantasy receiver at a third round draft price. Value!”
After watching the Colts without Hilton on Monday Night, it’s even more clear how desperately the offense needs his playmaking ability.
But this is fantasy football.
It’s all about getting that value pick in the mid-to-late rounds that helps seperate you from the competition. Hopefully you haven’t drafted yet and still have time to snag a potential fantasy sleeper in 2018.
