INDIANAPOLIS – A key cog to the offense is out and the team’s depth at their deepest positions will again be tested on Sunday.

The Colts (5-5) ruled 4 players out for their Sunday matchup with the Dolphins (5-5).

Here’s the Friday notebook for the Colts in Week 12:

  • The Colts have ruled 4 players OUT for Sunday’s game against the Dolphins: TE-Mo Alie-Cox (calf), TE-Ryan Hewitt (ankle), C-Ryan Kelly (knee) and TE-Erik Swoope (knee).
  • Hooker practiced all week and is off the injury report after missing last week’s win over the Titans due to a hip injury. Hooker has played in 8 of the team’s 10 games this season, logging the third most defensive snaps on the team.
  • Veteran defensive lineman Margus Hunt (knee) practiced all week long, despite leaving the Tennessee game in the first half.
  • After missing the past two games, Nate Hairston is off the injury report. The last time Hairston played, the Colts benched him following 9 snaps of action during the first half of the win in Oakland.
  • Ryan Kelly’s sprained MCL kept him off the practice field all week. Kelly will miss his first game of the season on Sunday. Injuries held Kelly out of 9 games last season.
  • The banged up tight end duo of Ryan Hewitt (ankle) and Erik Swoope (knee) continue to be out. Swoope hasn’t played in a month. Hewitt will now miss his third straight game.
  • Alie-Cox (calf) went from practicing FULL on Wednesday, was limited on Thursday and then missed Friday’s final session. So that means the Colts have just 2 healthy tight ends on their 53-man roster for Sunday.
