Mike Wells joins The Fan Morning Show. Mike talks with the fellas about how the defense is going to looking this year. Wells also talks about how the secondary may be underrated for the Colts this year, and can play a big part in hopes of a successful season.

On the corner back spot:

“I think the corner back spot is going to be one of the most underrated positions. They have so much depth out there. Jalen Collins made a play yesterday and I forgot Jalen Collins was on the roster. They were able to hide him on the practice squad last season. I think there are going to be some surprise cuts once roster trim down comes.”

On consistent ability to run the ball:

“I wouldn’t even say having a 100 yard rusher, but having over 100 yards rushing as a team because you would like for Marlon Mack to be a consistent 100 yard rusher. When you think about what they have sitting in the pantry for them offensively at the running back spot between Mack, Wilkins, Heinz etc. If they can consistently 100 or 150 a game that tells you the balance is going to be there.”
