Former NBA player Greg Oden joins The Fan Morning Show with Jeff and Big Joe to discuss the Pacers and the BIG3. Greg Oden discusses how he feels about the big men for the Pacers. Greg Oden also discusses the BIG3 three on three basketball tournament and being able to play basketball again. Greg Oden touches on what it is like to play after so many injuries.
“What do you feel about this NBA game in terms of the big man?”
“You know coach Nate, he believes in the big fella. As you know you need a guy down there in the post to kind of handle things and be a powerhouse down there. I think there still is a lane for big fellas we just have to get a right team around them to make it work. When you have the right players around them I think any player can be valuable in this league.”
“What exactly are you doing with the BIG3? How is this working out for you?”
“It’s three on three. It’s halfcourt. I don’t have to run up and down and kill my knee so much. It’s gonna be fun. For me I’m excited just to play some basketball and compete against some really good talent and just enjoy playing basketball again.”
