Chris Denari joins The Fan Morning Show with Jeff and Big joe to discuss the pickup of Malcolm Brogdon and what kind of a player Pacers fans can expect him to be next year. Chris also talks about how he feels Brogdon and Oladipo will pay off of each other next year.

“Your thoughts on, not complete turnover, but maybe a roster shakeup then we anticipated going into the offseason for the Pacers.”

“Yea I’m really excited. I had the opportunity to, while I was on vacation here, to listen and that’s the great thing about Pacers.com. You can listen and watch all of the press conferences. There is no question that I was super impressed with what I heard from Malcolm Brogdon yesterday, but it was no surprise. I mean if you followed Malcolm Brogdon when he played in college and what he has done in Milwaukee. I mean he is a quality young man, an outstanding player. Here’s the second round draft pick that was picked as rookie of the year, and has been a very important piece to Milwaukee who was a sixty win team this year. You have to be excited if you are a Pacers fan.”

“How do you see the skillsets of Brogdon and Oladipo playing off of one another?”

“I think the great thing is that they can both handle the ball and they can both play off the ball. As much as Malcolm Brogdon says he is most comfortable playing the point and that is where you will see him play, he is also a very good shooter. I think people know that he is a fifty forty ninety guy last year. So that means that you are a fifty percent field goal shooter, you can shoot better than forty from the three, and you’re a knock down free throw shooter especially late in games. I think the other piece will be defensively. All of a sudden you’ve gotten bigger too at the point guard position with Malcolm Brogdon being 6’5”. You know that Victor is an outstanding defender and I don’t think that will change when he comes back. I think with Brogdon and Victor in the backcourt, defensively especially, you can wreak a lot of havoc there.”
