The Indianapolis sports reporter who has spent the past five years at Fox59 and CBS 4 has recently taken a position as part of the Indianapolis Colts organization as the team’s producer and on-air talent.  She joins the show to talk about her new position and things she is interested in seeing out of the Indianapolis Colts this season as well as answering questions about the Pacers from what she has seen so far in this offseason.

Do you believe Andrew Luck will be ready to get the ground running as training camp gets closer?

“I haven’t heard anything specifically, which makes me think if there were growing concerns I certainly would have heard by now.  They really reinforced all throughout mini-camp that this very much just being very cautious.  If there were cause for concerns I think that I would’ve heard that there were some issues or that he was seeking some treatment or whatever needed to be going on.  It doesn’t seem like there is a sense of concern or worry regarding Andrew or anyone else.  We’ve heard through mini-camp that a couple of guys spent the offseason recovering from various things.  T.Y. of course had that ankle issue which require no surgery or anything like that.  Basically just needed that downtime and the recovery period.  I think with what Andrew has overcome and what he has been able to work through and get past, that this is blip on the radar with the calf issue.  It’s an issue of overuse kind of thing, little bit of a strain.  Not something where there is definitive damage is the sense that I’ve gotten, so no I don’t think that there is any cause for concern or any issues.  It seems like all around the roster is incredibly healthy right now.  Guys are really eager to get started too.”
