The Fan Morning Show is joined by Indy Eleven head coach, Martin Rennie. He discusses the team’s recent time off, the takeaways from the opener against Hartford, playing in front of a packed house, the confidence the team is playing with, and more.

On what it is like playing in front of a packed house:

“It is a lot more fun. When you are in those empty stadiums, it feels a lot more like a training game. I think our players have done a good job at focusing and getting the job done in those situations. It is always more fun to play in front of a crowd. It suits us well to be going into a situation where the home team will have a little bit of pressure on them, they will have a crowd expecting a lot from them and we will get the chance to play our game.”

On the confidence the team is playing with and how it helps them:

“Actually, I think we have come through a ton of our toughest games. We had probably five or six of the toughest teams in a row in our schedule leading up to this. You can never really tell what the next opponent is going to be like based on what is on paper, but we actually had a really rough run of games and came through that very well. I don’t think people really appreciated that or saw that but that is in our bank now so we have to move forward. Of course, the games continue to be tough, they continue to be hard.”
