Hello, ladies and gents, and welcome to “Let’s Parlay”, a blog about sports betting in the heart of central Indiana. I’m Stephen Sobek and I’ll be your guide for the next few months as we navigate the brand new betting landscape pertaining to the Colts, Pacers, Purdue, IU, Ball State, Notre Dame, etc.

Legal sports wagering in the Hoosier state is fast approaching, and this blog’s goal is to give you the inside scoop right from the get-go. I’ll be breaking down all of the best action each week, providing you with relevant betting angles, statistically-backed advice, and ultimately enough information for you to ‘beat the house’ more times than not. I’ll also draft a series of posts designed to educate you on a wide variety of sports betting topics.

September 1st is the first legal day to bet on sports in Indiana

That’s right, the beginning of next month marks Indiana’s initiation into the club of legal sports betting states. However, as of right now, there’s no guarantee that all 14 approved betting locations in Indiana will start accepting your wagers on Day 1. In fact, only a few will be up and running on Labor Day weekend. This may be disappointing, but it gives beginners and casual bettors some extra time to prepare and sharpen up on the basics. If you’re among the many people wondering how to get started, look no further than this handy resource: Sports Betting Is Finally Legal: So How Do I Get Started?

My main objective is to make “Let’s Parlay” a fun, yet reliable resource for bettors of all skill levels and interests. We’ll learn to wager on sports the right way so that you, too, can profit from following your favorite Indiana teams. This isn’t an easy proposition, but with the right amount of patience, practice, and hard work, you’ll have some moolah to show for your efforts.
